- Removed timing cover and re-sealed. Found machining defect was cause of leak. Followed procedure outlined from Toyota to repair leak. Re-installed all components and road tested. No more oil leaking after 30+ miles of test driving. During test drive noticed loud humming from front end on hwy, sounded like coming from left front wheel bearing. Replaced bearing with new and noise was still present. Inspected front differential and found the outer support bearing has a lot of play – recommend installing fix it kit for support bearing. Used stethoscope while running on lift and found RF wheel bearing was also very loud. Replaced with new and performed test drive.
