- Car was towed down but driven into parking spot, pulled into shop and heard no irregular noises. Inspected brakes, suspension and underside of vehicle – found no evidence of damage or contact. No noises are present at this time. Was able to see complete under carriage, exhaust, heat shields, under body protection, engine under tray etc and no where under the vehicle had any signs of contact or dragging. Brake pads are getting a little low but are fine, there is surface rust on rotors from sitting but nothing of concern. Found no issues or concerns during inspection or test drive. Contacted customer and got full story on how/when noise was happening, they mentioned a clunk when reversing with the wheel turned right and seemed to make more noise when turned right during incident. Test drove for over 10mi in various road conditions, around town and on hwy trying to replicate noise. Could not replicate concern.
