Changed engine oil and filter. Topped up washer fluid. Tire pressures were all around 34 – set to 35psi. Tire wear looks good, rotation not recommended at this time. Front brakes have about 7mm of pad left rotors look good. Found oil leak on passenger rear of engine, looks like a small plate on rear of cylinder heads is the source. Heard noise when engine running, used stethescope and found alternator is very loud, suspect bearing internally is failing. Recommend replacement – belt has some cracks showing, recommend new belt with alternator replacement.
Removed alternator and belt. Spun alternator and checked bearing – not really very loud and no play. Checked other pulleys with better access and found water pump bearing is VERY loud. Recommend water pump.
Replaced water pump with new oring and installed alternator and new drive belt. Refilled with coolant and bled cooling system. Once all bled ran engine up to op temp and made sure fans cycled and maintained engine temps

Front brakes have about 2mm left, recommend replacement soon. Replaced transmission fluid, used scan tool to set fluid level. Drained and refilled front and rear differential. Replaced all drain and fill plug seal rings. Road tested and verified engine runs smooth and transmission shifts normally

Removed both front shocks and replaced with new. Installed new bump stops and upper bearings/mounts and re-installed. Installed wheels and torqued 2x.
Removed under tray and drained engine oil. Re-installed tray. Replaced engine oil filter and engine oil. Topped up washer fluid. Coolant level is OK. Found no major leaks or concerns during inspection
Removed both headlights and front bumper cover to access hood latches. Removed old forward hood release cable and replaced with new. Lined up latches and re-installed. Installed bumper and headlights. Made sure latch cable works normally on both latches.
Tested fan control module, failed. It is on all the time which is a failed module. Recommend new module. Replaced fan module and connected, fans did not come on. Ran car up to temp and fans came on normally.

Confirmed with AC on "full" air from vents is very warm. Hooked up ac machine and evacuated system to check refrigerant level – found 0.0lbs in system. Pulled vac on system for 20min and performed leak test – leak test passed. No visible signs of leaks on any ac component. Recharged with specified amount of refrigerant and tested – air is now very cold from vents. Let car run for a while and road test, ac stayed cold the whole time.

Has faults stored: EOBD/OBDII – P0125 – Insufficient coolant temp. for closed loop fuel control P2441 – AIR system switching valve stuck closed, B1 P2443 – AIR system switching valve stuck closed, B2 P2445 – AIR system pump stuck off, B1 ECMECT – P0118 – Engine coolant temperature circuit, high input, pending P0118 – Engine coolant temperature circuit, high input, current P0118 – Engine coolant temperature circuit, high input, history ABS – C1405 – Open or short in front speed sensor, RH circuit C1408 – Open or short in front speed sensor, LH circuit Disconnected aftermarket box in-line with MAF sensor, no change with run-ability. Monitored engine data with engine running – MAF within spec. Coolant temp sensor reads -40* with engine at operating temp, temp gauge in cluster inop. *When P0118 is stored, the ECM enters fail-safe mode. During fail-safe mode, the ECT is estimated to be 80°C (176°F) by the ECM. Fail-safe mode continues until a pass condition is detected.* Fully removed aftermarket MAF box/wiring – engine runs much better and coolant temperature gauge now works, but ECM still stored secondary air injection faults. Found three blown fuses – replaced, no change. Found loose ground on back of B1 cylinder head and re-tightened. Ran secondary air test plan via scan tool – faults did not return at this time. It does now have P2198 fault stored for B2S1 O2 sensor stuck rich – suspect either sensor issue or due to many exhaust leaks audible when engine running. Secondary air faults returned on cold start – most likely will need valves replaced but does pass function test without issues.

Drained and refilled front and rear differential and transfer case fluid. Replaced both seal washer for drain and fill on all 3. Drained engine oil and replaced filter and filled with new oil. Front diff and transfer case fluids were dark with some debris on drain plug, but rear diff was very silver looking and smelled awful. Drained transmission fluid and replaced fluid per manufacturer spec, used scan tool to set fluid level. Set tire pressures. Replaced engine air filter and cabin air filter. Brakes have about 50% life left, brake fluid looks new, maybe replace fluid next time tires need rotated Found no leaks during inspection. Suspension, exhaust, bushings etc are all in good condition. Tires slightly more worn up front than rear but not enough to indicate an issue.

Has faults: P0171-00 – System too lean, bank 1 P0191-26 – Fuel rail pressure sensor – range/performance P2610-86 – ECM/PCM internal engine off timer performance P065A-00 – Generator system performance P065C-00 – Generator mechanical performance Once engine is warmed up, can hear squealing noise from intake area of engine and has excessive vacuum at oil cap and dipstick. This is a failed PCV/oil trap which causes an internal vacuum leak leading to a 'lean' air-fuel mixture.Oil filter housing leaking as well. Battery voltage 14.0 – 14.2v at idle, 13.6v with a load applied. No issues found with alternator (generator) or pulley. Recommend replacing oil trap and associated hoses and oil service as filter housing needs to be removed for oil trap replacement.
Replaced oil trap/filter housing w/associated breather hoses, changed oil, and cleared faults. Road tested vehicle – noise and faults are gone. Reset service indicator. Used 5.5L 5w30 synthetic oil.

VCS OFF, VSC, SERVICE ENGINE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on o/a – scanned faults and printed report for customer. Replaced engine oil and filter. Oil leak at bellhousing to engine but is not that bad. Both outer tie rod boots have oil in them, suspect steering rack is leaking. Ball joints, shocks etc are in good condition, a bit rusty but OK at this time. Front brakes have about 7mm pad remaining, rears have just slightly less.
Drained transmission fluid and refilled, used scan tool to set fluid level. Road tested and transmission shifts smooth and operates normally.
