    • Replaced engine oil and filter, set oil to full mark on dipstick. Engine air filter was black, replaced with new. 1 tire was a little low around 31 psi, set all 4 to 35psi and reset tpms. Reset service reminder. Replaced cabin air filter and topped up washer fluid, used almost full gallon of window cleaner fluid.

    • Starter worked to pull vehicle in for service. Replaced engine oil and filter. Replaced engine air filter and cabin air filter. Found no leaks or issues during service. Tried to start engine to check oil level, engine would not crank over. Tested electrical and found no power to starter with key in "start" position.
    • After changing oil engine would not crank over. Tested starter wire and found about 12v to starter. Start wire has no power with key in start position. Found the car will not start in Park, but if you shift to neutral it will start every time. Recommend neutral safety switch and re-test

    • Changed engine oil and filter, reset service reminder. Front tires had 8/32 rear at 9/32 – rotated tires front to back. Set tire pressures and reset tpms. No fluid leaks visible on engine, trans or drivetrain. All u-joints in good condition. Brakes and shocks in good condition. Serpentine belt looks like its getting old but no noise or cracking showing at this time. Topped up washer fluid.

  • 2014 Volkswagen Jetta

    • Pressure tested cooling system overnight, lost about 1/2lb, no visible coolant leaks from top or on ground after 12+ hrs of pressure. Battery was very low, charged, seems to hold a charge fine. Battery light comes on/off while running, inspected alternator and found aftermarket alternator installed, clutch assembly is coming apart and spitting grease out, recommend new OEM alternator.
    • Replaced the alternator assembly, also replaced the clutch that screws on the alternator. Test drove the vehicle afterwards and had no issues with charge light. NOTE: during test drive there was a lot of vibration from the front and the rear of the vehicle, recommend getting wheel balance checked and a set of hub centric rings for the aftermarket wheels. Slight bit of vibration under braking as well.
    • Replaced the ignition start stop switch, now works like it should.
