- No coolant visible in radiator, no coolant in overflow tank. Tested cooling system with 16psi, no leaks visible, no pressure drop over 10min. Tested radiator cap – failed -leaks air and will not hold any pressure. Recommend radiator cap replacement and coolant refill. Refilled cooling system and bled all air out of system, made sure thermostat opened and fans cycled. Installed new radiator cap and topped up overflow tank. Test drove down highway, ran engine total for about an hour and coolant temp never rose above halfway. Even after driving on hwy and sitting still, temp was maintained.
