    • Alternator belt is missing, looks to have shredded, all pulleys/idlers feel OK at this time, secondary belt for water pump looks ok, but recommend replacing both.
    • Replaced water pump belt and installed new alternator belt. Ran engine to verify no odd movement or noise. No issues found after belt replacement. Torque wheel to spec and checked tire pressures, all tires were below 30, set all 4 to 35psi. No odd wear on tires. Rear brakes are getting low but are not due at this time.

    • Installed a new accessory belt, water pump belt was okay. Battery light is no longer on the dash. Notice the orange wrench was on the dash. Checked oil and it was slightly dirty and slightly over full. No fluid leaks on the bottom. Checked voltage output with a DMM. battery is being charged now. Topped up washer fluid.

    • R&R oil and filter. Undercarriage and suspension inspection. Front brakes 3mm rear brakes 2mm. Recommend 4 wheel brake change. R&R engine air filter. Lubricate door hinges. ATF dirty recommend AT filter service. Sounds like blown struts up front. Recommend further inspection.

  • 2018 Mazda CX-9

    • Customer states car was running fine but was having issues starting. Took to willettes and they replaced spark plugs and the battery and then car ran very poorly and was brought here. Car will start but audibly is not running on all cylinders. Engine power is low – at full throttle it barely gets up to 30mph. No CEL o/a, pulled in shop to inspect and smelled very strong sulfur smell from exhaust. Performed complete obd2 scan. No faults in ECU or TCM. Ran engine for a few minutes monitoring engine data, engine makes very little power and has strong sulfur smell after any running time. No misfires during rough running registered. All fuel data looks normal. Noticed Cat temp reached 540deg after about 5 min of idle time and smell from left exhaust got significantly worse. Removed spark plugs and checked gap, gap was a tad large on 2 plugs – re-gapped and re-installed. Engine now runs normally and starts easily. No CEL present after test drive. Since willettes installed plugs they took care of the cost for this repair.

    • Changed engine oil and filter. used 4.8L of new oil. Checked tire pressures and set all 4 to 35psi. Tires are all worn evenly, rotation not recommended at this time. No visible oil or coolant leaks under engine, no visible leaks from drivetrain. Serpentine belt looks to be in OK condition, no squeeking sounds audible on startup. Next oil service due at 55k

    • Changed engine oil and filter – used 4.4L 0w20 synthetic. Reset service indicator. Front brakes have 10mm of pad remaining, rear brakes have 7mm. No leaks, no fault codes. Suspension and steering tight. Recommend tires in fall – tires have 5/32 of tread remaining. Next oil service due: 47,000
