Services Performed
- Removed intercooler to install AOS kit as supplied. Had to remove upper strut bar, intercooler and TB to complete installation. Installed coolant supply to AOS and ran breather hoses to valve cover. Drain back hose ran behind turbocharger to help with icing in winter. Recommend checking level after track sessions and keep a close eye on oil level. Oil was at low mark on dipstick, topped up to almost full with 5w-40 Motul Xcess but didn't have quite enough to get to full line. Found both outer front cv joint boots leaking grease, BIG mess on caliper and wheel. Due to heavy track use, recommend new axles both sides. Inner boot on DS is also torn open and leaking grease.
- Removed both axle assemblies and cleaned grease off knuckle/brakes/control arms – did not clean wheels. Re-installed with new axle nuts torqued to spec from Subaru.
- Replaced both output shaft seals – topped up transmission fluid with Motul 300 gear oil after installation
