- Leak detection pump has failed and needs to be replaced. Circuit high fault indicates pump is drawing too much current. Commanded pump on with scan tool and pump does not operate at this time. Wiring looks in good condition and fuses are not blown. Recommend replacing pump and confirming function.
- Tested old pump before removal for Voltage and resistance specification readings. Voltage was present but pump failed specified resistance readings. New pump gave correct reading so it was installed. Read codes, then cleared codes after install. Codes were for leak detection pump and 1 tire pressure warning. 1 Code 02746 for RT side DRL/ (daytime running lamp) was only other code in system. Headlamp removal required to replace it. Checked fluids and tire pressures. Added small amount of coolant. and added a small amt of oil. (less than 1/2 qt.) Just to be safe. No leaks found.
