Services Performed
- Verified customer complaint, horn does not function. Pulled faults: ABS C1422 VDC interupption for engine convenience C1424 ECM TPMS Tire pressure low (all 4 tires) AC B14A1 Sunload sensor circuit open or low Power lift Gate B2501 PRG ECU malfunction B2512 Damper breakage In BCM checked for input/ouput signal from horn, when operating horn button no output signal is being sent. Using scan tool was able to command horn on – horn functions without issue. Recommend new horn button, if horn still non-op with input repaired then suspect BCM module internal issue. Checked engine oil level – OK. Found non oem filter and quick lube sticker on window – recommend OEM filters and better quality oil for future changes. Oil leak or residue from messy out change/top up under oil fill and on timing cover etc. Recommend full engine clean top and bottom to inspect oil leaks. Looks like both valve cover gaskets are leaking oil. Exhaust, undercarriage and suspension all look OK. Brake pads and rotors are in good condition with good pad life remaining. Lower rearward control arm bushings have started to crack and tear slightly. Right side tires both low – front at 25 and rear at 28 – set all 4 to 35psi and reset tpms.
