Services Performed
- Removed the old water pump and replaced it with the new part, also replaced the water pump bolts and torqued them. Vacuum tested the coolant system for leaks and it passed. Also vacuum filled the system with coolant and completed factory bleed procedure. Test drove the vehicle afterwards to ensure the coolant system got all the way up to temp and the thermostat opened up like it should. Vehicle operated properly, checked coolant level when I got back, added a splash to it and its now good to go.
