    • 433C Leak detection module, pump – signal too high No work performed at this time.
    • Code 433C for the Leakage Detection Module, Pump-Signal too high. Cleared the faults after printing the report and they did not immediately return. I am sure they will eventually. Recommend getting the ECM flash from the dealership for the TSB relating to this code/issue before we continue to diagnose. NOTE: to get to the leak detection pump, rivets must be drilled and re-installed later after repair to remove heat shield required to access pump for further diag or replacement.

    • Changed engine oil and filter, reset service reminder. Undertray padding has been eaten by rodents. Oil leak on front rear of engine, looks like mostly front main seal but too dirty to tell. Oil filter area has a lot of oil, but looks mostly from not cleaned last few oil changes, cleaned area well to monitor oil leaks. Undertray is missing several fasteners but is held securely.
    • Rear brakes are down to about 3mm, fronts have closer to 5-6mm but rotors are in very poor condition. Rears should be replaced soon, fronts are OK for now but recommend replacement due to condition. Checked tire pressure, found Right Rear was only at 25, right front was at 45psi, other 2 on PS where at 37. Set RR to 40psi due to leak, other 3 at 35psi and reset tpms. Tires are all mismatched tread depth and brand.

    • Completed engine oil and filter change. Changed the drain plug gasket and torqued the plug. Reset maintenance reminder. Found an oil leak on the front driver side of the engine and the side of the drivers side of the engine, also seems to be a seep from the turbo on the bottom pipe. Recommend doing the oil feed with that too. Slight chirping sound heard occasionally, sounds like coming from center of engine/transmission. Was not frequent enough to narrow down. Noticed there are some oil leaks in that area as well. Adjusted headlights slightly higher, can not go any higher with available adjustmenet.

    • Performed complete systems scan – no fault codes stored. Suspension and steering tight. No fluid leaks. Front brakes have 8mm of pad material remaining, rear brakes have 7mm – rotors all okay. All 4 tires have 10/32nds of tread remaining. Belt and pullies okay. Battery tested @ 12.3v/91% capacity. Fluids all at correct levels, air filter okay. Passenger side rocker panel dented.

    • Completed 80k service. Changed the engine oil and filter. Made sure to change the drain plug washer and torque it. Torqued the filter as well. Flushed the brake fluid. Changed the engine air filter and the cabin air filter. Set tire pressures to the pressure in the door sill (38psi front and rear). Reset TPMS since the tires were at 43psi-55psi upon arrival. The front brakes are about 10mm and the rear brakes are at 6mm. Reset maintenance reminder. No fluid leaks or issues found during inspection.

    • P0193 fuel rail pressure circuit – high input Found spot where harness rubbed on oil filter cap. 1 Wire has worn through and into the copper but minimally. Removed wire cover and cleaned wire, inspected and found only the 1 wire had slight damage – cleaned and taped wire separate and put some plastic protectant covering on to help not damage wire further. Tested continuity and resistance – wire is OK at this time .Cleared faults and P0193 immediately. Tested fuel pressure sensor, tested within spec (12v at pin 1, 5v and pin 2 and 3), recommend replace fuel pressure sensor and see if high input fault goes away. Wire that is slightly open is not for fuel pressure sensor so it is unrelated to faults at this time. If high input returns will need to test physical fuel pressure at rail compared to sensor reading with new sensor. Also a common issue is a bad ground in the wiring harness which can also be repaired without replacing the whole engine harness. When due for next oil change or larger repair work, recommend removing EGR and Throttle valve to perform permanent wire repair. Should be fine in the mean time with temp repair.
    • Replaced rail sensor and cleared faults. Circuit fault did not return. Nox and regen required faults returned. Performed a forced regen while standing, took a couple tries to get it started but started and completed. System is in good condition with very low measured soot content. N0X regen still required, must enable and perform during drive. Circuit fault has not returned after several test drives. DS headlight bulb out – replaced with new.
    • Performed forced regen while sitting 2x – took about 5 tries to get started but once started completed and got a "system OK" after completion both time. Lights remained on in dash for Nox limit and regen required. Performed test drive in regen parameters for 50mi, lights would not reset. Using scan tool, enabled auto regen feature and test drove for another 50+ miles until lights shut off. No faults stored after over 100mi of test driving and after regen is completed. Circuit fault has not returned.
